What is Smart Incubator?
A programme created to assist and support technology-oriented entrepreneurs and start-ups in the early development stages.
The ITU-T Smart Incubator was launched in September 2018 at the ITU Telecom World in Durban, South Africa, with special thanks to Saudi Arabia and Rwanda for their financial support.
Its goal is to enable change through digital transformation by empowering local entrepreneurs and starts-ups. The work of this programme is linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
The Smart Incubator is a multi-stakeholder platform that includes Member States, UN agencies, Standards Development Organizations, Industry, Academia and Foundations.
